Domain Name
A domain name is the textual address for your Web site. Most Web sites consist of the www prefix, the name of your site, and the appropriate suffix. Some of the most popular suffixes include .com, .org, and .net. Other suffixes include .gov (reserved for governmental entities), .edu (reserved for educational institutions), and .mil (reserved for military organizations).
